Ben and his father Peter Cluff decided to fundraise for Movember together, but their campaign was actually in reverse.
Both were sporting moustaches long before the month of November rolled around, so they decided to take up a different challenge in their fundraising efforts.
If they hit the $3000 mark then Peter would’ve had to chop off his mo, but if they didn’t then Ben’s upper lip fuzz was on the line.
They successfully raised $2,200 for men’s health and while Peter was a little disappointed that they didn’t reach the $3000 mark, he was relived he didn’t have to shave his mo - something Peter has had for over 40 years.
“We were both disappointed we didn’t get there, but Dad was pretty excited that he won and that we raised a good amount for the cause,” Ben said.
Ben had his moustache for over a year and said he was looking forward to the change.
