Father son combo Craig (11) and Jack (22) Pettit yielded 33 for the first CCC pair, setting a great platform, and then Tim Howarth (13) and Graeme Allen (16) also making good contributions on the way to a solid total of 81.
Aidan Bennewith got among the wickets for Suparangas with 3/-5, while Darren Davies and Matt Woodbridge were the only other multi wicket-takers.
Crushers rose to the top of table mainly through their ability to bowl and field exceptionally and defend low totals. Twice during the season they defended scores of less than 40, so with 81 on the board the side was in a very confident mood.
They held the first pair to just nine runs, but a fighting 21 from skipper Bennewith and Matt Woodbridge left the last two pairs needing 52 from eight overs.
Unfortunately the pressure of the chase got the better of the Suparangas and wickets began to tumble.
Graeme Allen took five wickets for the Crushers, while Nick Crawford and Nathan Jones each bagged four of their own in the dominant grand final victory.
In other recent games at the centre, Adlai Shipp’s Thunder came close to upsetting ladder leaders, Slappers, with a final score of 120-153.
Slappers piled on the runs in the early stages with Mitch Davies (40) and Nick Richardson (19) managing 59, while Dan Holland and Andrew Cusack scored 39, taking the total to 98.
The teams changed over, and Tom Barber and Lucas Walters made a good start scoring 49, with Barber in particular brutal to any bowling that strayed from a good line and length.
The other pairs all made solid contributions, with Claire Porter (15) and Brodie Caton (17) batting well.
Davies and Richardson each took four wickets, completing great all-round games for the pair.
Here4daBeer and Grandads Army played out the other game of the round, with the latter eventually falling short, 165-137.
Andrew Stanger (35) and Phil Dunn (31) were standouts with the bat for Here4daBeer, while Ryan Angel and Owen Kemp each picked up four wickets.
For Grandads Army, Darren Kranias had a stellar game with 32 runs and five wickets. David Pears also got among the runs, making 35.
