Teachers Letisha Finlay (Nursing), Susan Greer (Tourism and Hospitality), Frank Roberts (Agriculture), Cathy Zajac (Foundation Skills) and Leona Mills (Accounting and Finance) all received an Award for Excellence by an Individual.
Acting Institute Director Adam Bennett said the awards helped acknowledge extraordinary staff who excelled in delivering TAFE Western’s key business principles in the past 12 months.
“Staff at TAFE Western continue to thrive in a rapidly-changing environment and it was an absolute pleasure to pay tribute to Letisha, Susan, Frank, Cathy and Leona who have achieved a great deal in 2016,” he said.
He also congratulated Dubbo’s Malcolm Tattersall and Mark Taylor who received awards for their contribution to building reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal staff in TAFE Western.
