Minokamo in Japan or Wujiang in China were visited by the students recently.
Their experiences were shared at the now Dubbo Regional Council’s Finance and Policy meeting.
Teacher Craig Turner, a chaperone on the Wujiang trip, said one of the highlights was standing on the Great Wall of China.
Another high point was seeing the students who had visited Dubbo earlier in the year.
“It was certainly a life-changing experience for myself.” Mr Turner said.
“I think I can safely say the same for the rest of the group,” he said.
“The kids represented themselves, their families and their schools, and importantly Dubbo with integrity,” he said.
