Artists Rudy Kistler and Zac Craig were were due to put the finishing touches on their masterpiece on Saturday morning, allowing DREAM Festival visitors to have some fun with the perspective work.
“We were given an open brief so topically I thought about all the rain that Dubbo has had and decided to do something with that,” Mr Kistler said.
“With these pieces it is more exciting to have danger involved so we have these arches that look down to a torrent of water.”
The artists started work on Friday morning and were crossing their fingers that there wasn’t too much rain overnight.
Once the work is complete, it will have a sealant applied that will ensure it will remain in place for up to two months.
Mr Craig is from Dubbo, while Mr Kistler is from Goulburn and their art has taken them around the world.
