School skips for fitness

Over 400 students at St John's Primary will pick up their skipping ropes to raise money for the Heart Foundation's Jump Rope for Heart program on Thursday.

They will join hundreds of other schools across the country in the largest fundraiser for physical activity in young people.

St John’s principal Anthony O'Leary hopes to raise more than $6000. He said the school is committed to supporting students being more physically active.
