The young leg spinner took 4-13 off 7.4 overs in his side’s opening round, nine wicket win over the Northern Territory on Monday.
The gun right-hander wasn’t required to bat in the huge win, his bowling catching the eye as ACT/NSW Country dismissed their NT opponents for just 105.
Against tougher opposition in round two, Jeffrey scored 19 runs and took 0-34 in his side’s clash with NSW Metro.
The ACT/NSW Country boys batted first, posting the all-out total of 152, with their opposition chasing down the target with seven wickets in the shed and in the 29th over.
Jeffrey and his ACT/NSW Country teammates will enjoy a rest day in Queensland on Wednesday before earning the chance to bounce back in pool A when they clash with Tasmania at Kerry Emery Oval on Thursday.
