Deputy Premier and Dubbo MP Troy Grant announced the assistance on Tuesday while visiting flood-affected Forbes, and said measures would help individuals, small businesses, primary producers, and local councils with their recovery efforts.
Parkes MP Mark Coulton has welcomed the funding, available under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).
He said individuals could access grants for emergency accommodation, food hampers or essential household items, while concessional interest rate loans of up to $130,000 may be available to small businesses and primary producers.
