The two branches competed for the most blood donations across three months.
Dubbo employees donated 39 times, saving 117 lives.
NAB Dubbo agribusiness analyst Hannah Wills said the branches had often competed against one another, but the challenges were usually finance related.
Not only was it a bit of fun, Ms Wills said she managed to sign up some new donors.
Individually, Ms Willis donated the most during the timeframe at 12 donations.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service community relations officer Ronny Maroun said while the donations might not seem like much, winter was a time when the bank struggled to get donors.
For the first two months of the competition Orange was in the lead, but in the final four weeks Dubbo stepped up the charge to beat them, Mr Maroun said.
“After presenting to Orange last week they want to let you know next year it’s on,” he said.
The branches have already committed to making the blood drive an annual competition.
