The 22-year-old Waratahs prop played 20-minutes in the Wallabies 36-20 victory over the Pumas in Perth, and told rugby.com.au receiving his Wallabies cap was an “an amazing feeling”.
“You never really expect to do it and then when it finally happened, yeah it’s unreal and it’s even better to get the win,” Robertson said.
“I guess it was a bit of nerves and a bit of excitement and mixed in but you know it wouldn’t be normal if you didn’t have any nerves.
“We’re just looking forward to the next test...you can’t really sort of rest on these two wins that we’ve had you know you’ve got to go back and prepare for South Africa and Argentina in their home territory.
“That’s going to be a tough challenge...we’ve got a big two weeks ahead of us but an exciting one as well.”
