The ride departed Dubbo on Saturday morning, with 52 riders and 11 support crew travelling from across the state to take part in raising money and awareness for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS).
The ride takes in Gilgandra, Tooranweenah, Baradine, Coonabarabran and Gunnedah, with the group due in Tamworth on Friday.
“We’ve got one day which will be about 140 [kilometres] so that'll test out everyone’s legs...it’s a travelling circus but it’s great fun,” WRHS community liaison officer Michael Wilson said.
”All the money that we raise goes to ensuring that no one ever has to pay because the [rescue] service is there when you need it, and we just hope no one ever does.”
