As of Thursday winter is over and the cricket season will immediately be on show with Australian representative Gurinder Sandhu coming to Dubbo as part of the NSW Country Blitz tour.

The annual program sees players from the NSW Blues and Breakers as well as Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder players travel throughout the state, visiting schools and community groups.
Sandhu, who has represented Australia twice in one-day-internationals, will be joined by fellow NSW player Will Somerville.
They will take part in a number of school visits while there will also be a community meet and great at Barden Park on Thursday evening.
The event will give local cricket fans of all ages the rare opportunity to as two first-class cricketers about what it is like to perform at an elite level.
The meet and greet runs from 5.30-7pm at the Barden Park function room.
In what shapes as a busy season, the Sydney Thunder will also run a Camp Thunder School Holiday clinic at Dubbo later in the year.
