Black was devastating from dummyhalf and capitalised on the Nyngan defenders being preoccupied with watching the ever-dangerous Staggs, who also scored a double in the 41-18 major semi-final win.
“The boys put in a good effort and we made the grand final and that’s where you want to be,” Staggs said, before praising Black.
“Brogan is going great and is probably the best hooker in the 18s. He’s just got a good brain about him and gets good ball out too.”
After leading 26-8 at half time, Black darted over from close range twice in quick succession to really take the match out of reach, before Staggs added a field goal for good measure.
Wellington will play Nyngan or Forbes in the decider.
