More than $250,000 was raised over the course of the event, which is run by the Rotary Club of Dubbo South.
“We were blessed with the weather, and already from it we’ve donated $29,250 to the Pink Angels and the same amount to the Black Dog Ride,” Mr Dunshea said.
“Along the way we gave $3000 to a community in the Yowah Opal Fields to light up their airstrip for the flying doctors, and gave $4000 to a remote community at Haddon Corner to fund a field day they run for the women who live in remote areas, and get beauticians and the like out there.”
The next Destination Outback will be conducted in 2018.
