The Golden Easter Egg runner is more often seen in major events at Wentworth Park but will be in action at Dubbo on Thursday in the $1380 Ladbrokes Red Dog Bonus Stakes (605m).
The progeny of Kinloch Brae and Break Even comes to Dubbo after strong performances in 720m events at Wentworth Park this month.
Brad Hill Billy, who has won more than $240,000 in his 68-race career, won on July 6 and has scored a third and fourth in his two most recent runs.
Also helping Brad Hill Billy’s chances is the fact he has drawn box eight but Smith will be hoping his notoriously slow starter doesn’t get caught in too much trouble early on.
Dubbo trainer Charmaine Roberts appears to be the other biggest threat in the race, with Becky Keeping jumping from box six.
Becky Keeping has been in fine form recently and has recorded three wins from her past four starts, with two of those victories at Richmond.
Those two are expected to battle it out but William Marmara will be confident of his dog Bit Bazzaar running some kind of race.
While some of his more fancied rivals have been impressing on metro tracks, Bit Bazzaar will be making the step up after impressing at the likes of Coonabarabran and Gunnedah.
The 11-race meeting gets underway from 12.02pm with Brad Hill Billy and Becky Keeping jumping in the fifth event of the day at 1.23pm.
