Cheers was taken to Maitland Hospital in a stable condition after spending four days missing in the Newcastle area.
The alarm was first raised on Sunday afternoon when Cheers failed to return home after having two horses finish at the back of the field during a meeting at the Hawkesbury racecourse.
Her horse float was found in the Newcastle suburb of Beresfield around 4pm that afternoon but Cheers was nowhere to be seen.
On Wednesday afternoon the 44-year-old was found near the search area.
She was treated by paramedics and then transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Her husband, Peter Cheers, told The Newcastle Herald earlier in the day that his wife went missing last year but not for this long.
He suspected Cheers might have been too embarrassed to return home.
