But Fishies coach Tim Ryan won’t have it.

“We’re ready to go and we’ve had some great battles there at Kennard Park so we’d be foolish not to be ready for it,” he said.

“We’re expecting a tough game in the senior grades, they always turn out for CYMS.”

But rather than put it down to his side’s dominance, Ryan preferred to say his side had got a bit of luck in an extremely even competition.

“The only reason is because all the top teams have beat each other,” he said.

“Macquarie beat Parkes last week, Parkes have beaten Forbes and I think Forbes might have even beaten Nyngan so we’ve been able to kick away in games that could have gone either way.”

The Fishies will be without Alex Ronayne after he twinged his hamstring during last week’s hard-fought 8-7 win over the Nyngan Tigers.

John Grey also needed stitches to his face after copping an arm to the mouth in that match but Ryan said he will be fine to play.
