It’s been almost two years since the Golden Oldies Truck Club held their 6th biennial truck show and this years event is shaping up to eclipse the 2014 show with new and varied exhibits and displays but again featuring a pavilion of exquisite quilts.
The featured brand this year is Ford, and it is expected Ford fans will be well catered for with a great number of Ford Trucks and Tractors on display.
Golden Oldies Truck Club President, Brian Little said he was excited for the event.
“We are celebrating 10 years as a Club and this will be our seventh Vintage Truck and Tractor Show,” he said.
“As always, we welcome all makes and models of Vintage Commercial Vehicles, trucks, vans, buses, tractors, both wheeled and tracked, military vehicles and scale models of these vehicles.
Mr Little said members of the Golden Oldies Truck Club were proud of the show that has been ranked in the top five Vintage truck shows in Australia.
“We are also proud about our considerable donations to local charities from the proceeds of our shows,” Mr Little said.
The 7th Golden Oldies Dubbo Vintage Truck and Tractor Show will again feature all makes and models of trucks, tractors and anything that is unique, unusual or weird in the automotive world from the beginning of the automotive age right up to the present day.
Ladies will also be entertained by the exciting array of quilts on show in the Ladies Pavilion and there will be great refreshment stalls on hand to satisfy the most discerning tastes.
It will be held on Saturday, August 13 at the Dubbo Showground, with proceeds directed to local charities.
