The improvement in the side has been clearly noticeable and prior to last week's bye the men in black and gold produced their best performance and defeated CSU Bathurst 18-16.
But despite all that, co-coach Dave Stuart isn’t done with yet and wants more from his side, starting on Saturday at Orange City.
“We spoke about it this week that two wins shouldn’t just be the end of our season,” he said.
“We want to keep on improving and now we can hopefully put in some solid performances against the top teams because that will give us a real indication of how we’re going.
“We’ve got some challenging games coming up and play the top four sides over the next few weeks and we’ve got to be realistic but this time around we want to put in some stronger performances.”
Orange City dominated the Rhinos when the sides first met back in April and won 64-0.
City are third on the ladder and have hit their straps in recent weeks, scoring 128 points in the past two matches alone.
“Orange City ran us ragged last time but with a bit more match fitness under our belt now we’ll put in a better performance,” Stuart said.
The Rhinos look set to be boosted by the return of Luke Gibbs but Jordan Davis is set to miss the match after suffering a knee injury against CSU.
Kick off is at 3.15pm.
