The 52nd running of the weekly, free, timed event saw participants take the total distance covered to 56,795 kilometres.
Visitors from Wollongong, Canberra, Armidale, Sydney, Brisbane, Lake Macquarie, Bathurst and Newcastle strode out alongside locals, taking the total to 270 participants for the day.
Dubbo parkrun director Miriam Tan helped helped lead celebrations for the milestone of the event that prides itself on being for all ages and all abilities.
She said the next step was the Dubbo Stampede in August.
“I actually find most are challenging themselves to the 10km as they are doing 5km most weekends already,” she said.
