The 15s side, coached and managed by Dubbo duo Don Skinner and Marty Nelson respectively, emphatically defeated Western Australia on Thursday.
The final results read 84 runs to 27 and was just another example of the talent in the NSW Country side.
Promising Dubbo talent Thomas Nelson impressed in the match, scoring 18 and taking three wickets.
His effort with the bat was backed up by Brock Larance, who scored 19, and Jackson Korn, who also made 18.
Nelson was the leading wicket-taker but everyone chipped in, with Dubbo’s Tom Atlee one of six players to take two wickets in the lopsided win.
Next up for the Cyclones is a match with the much-fancied Queenslanders on Friday.
It wasn’t as good news for the Cyclones 13 and under side on Thursday, as they only won one skin in a 42-run loss to Victoria.
