Dubbo City Regional Airport is set to welcome the newest member to its suite of airlines on July 18.
Western Plains Regional Council administrator Michael Kneipp said an exciting giveaway to coincide with the launch of FlyPelican would feature a prize to be enjoyed in each of the destination cities.
“Western Plains Regional Council has been working collaboratively with Newcastle City Council and FlyPelican to create an amazing prize offering flights, accommodation and activity packages in Dubbo and Newcastle,” Mr Kneipp said.
The prize for residents of Western Plains Regional Council is a two-night stay for a family of four at the Newcastle Beach Hotel with tours and experiences that showcase the coastal city’s diverse dining, cultural and entertainment options.
“Overlooking Newcastle's most famous surf break, the Newcastle Beach Hotel is a landmark when it comes to beachside dining and entertainment, and as part of your prize Moonshadow-TQC Cruises are giving you and your family an opportunity to get up close and personal aboard a Whale Watching Cruise,” Mr Kneipp said.
“You will also be taken on a tunnel tour of Fort Scratchley, a National Historic Landmark, where you will be treated to some wonderful views at undoubtedly the most spectacular vantage point in Newcastle.”
“After you have finished adventuring, mum and dad can relax and enjoy a structured wine tasting at Inner City Winemakers.”
The giveaway will also bring a family to Dubbo.
“Newcastle prize winners will get the chance to check out the best of the west when they win a two-night stay at Australia’s most unique accommodation experience, Zoofari Lodge at the Taronga Plains Western Plains Zoo with two dinners, breakfasts, tours and bike hire included as well as a family pass to the Old Dubbo Gaol,” Mr Kneipp said.
“Both prizes include return flights for a family of four, and the giveaway aims to promote the breadth and diversity of visitor offerings in Dubbo and Newcastle.
“To enter, go to www.dubbo.com.au and simply tell us in 25 words or less why you want to fly to Newcastle or Dubbo thanks to FlyPelican,” he said.
