St Pat’s are fourth and Confederates eighth, with 20 points separating the sides, but Conroy heaped praise on the ever-improving Orange unit leading into the round 13 game at Bob Roach Field.
"Confederates have improved a lot this year and their defence in particular is a lot better,” Conroy said, before suggesting his side will need to score multiple goals to win.
“Two or three goals might be enough to win.
"But we've struggled for goals a bit ourselves lately. This is a match where we just have to do whatever it takes to get the win, and move on.
"Kristy Conroy is back this weekend which makes a huge difference."
Confederates take on St Pat’s from 3.20pm.
