One of those records will come to an end on Sunday.

The Fishies make the trip to Cale Oval this weekend in a positive mood after a round eight derby win over Macquarie.

They will enter the match as favourites not only due to the fact they are leading Group 11 but also because last time they clashed with Narromine the men in green and white ran out convincing 64-10 winners.

That was in round two of this season but since then the Jets have proven they are a side not to be taken lightly.

During the first half of the season Luke Thompson and his men only played three matches at home but they won all three.

Combine that with a win over Macquarie at Dubbo recently and the Jets have confirmed themselves as finals contenders.

Their forward pack, one of the biggest in the Group, will again be key on Sunday against the smaller but more agile CYMS unit.

Thompson will lead the way but he has plenty of support from the likes of Alex Sambrook and Mick Clarke while five-eighth Daryl Cubby is as good as anyone in Group 11 when it comes to getting across the tryline.

The first grade match will kick off at 2.30pm.

Elsewhere in round nine, Nyngan welcome Parkes to Larkin Oval while the Wellington Cowboys travel to Forbes.

The Nyngan-Parkes match is shaping as one of the matches of the round with the Tigers coming off back-to-back wins while Parkes sit second on the ladder.
