Hughes had a season to remember in the outdoor version of game in 2015/16 and on Saturday night she will line up for the NSW Country Cyclones in the opening round of the under-17s girls division of the Junior National Championships.
Hughes and the Cyclones will take on the ACT at 7.45pm at Dubbo Sportsworld.
One of the biggest sporting events to be played out at Dubbo this year, the Championships begin on Saturday night with a number of locals in action for the Cyclones.
Matches will be played from 8.30am until after 9pm each day before the finals on Saturday, July 9.
