The Championships will be played from July 4-8 and Black will play in the under-15s while Duffy will play in the under-13s.
It is familiar territory for Black after she was previously selected in the 13s in 2014 and 2015.
Black, a St John’s College student known for her reflexes, communication and agility, will play as a goalkeeper once again. Having already been to a number of high-level training camps, the Dubbo youngster is one of the most promising stoppers in the region.
Dubbo College South Campus student Duffy will feature in the midfield for the 13s and is expected to be one of the side’s chief playmakers as she is regarded as an extremely unselfish player.
Both players have been playing for the Western Mariners and both have been coached by local Todd Duffy, Kate’s father, and NSW Country mentor Glen Steadman.
