The Raiders lost 38-16 to local rivals CYMS at Caltex Park and McLellan said it was clear his side need to be playing better.
And with Josh Merritt returning from suspension next week and Dylan Hill’s knee injury all but healed, he confessed next week’s lineup against Westside could look vastly different.
”I thought in the first half some of our defence had them struggling but against a quality side like them you’ve got to do it for 80 minutes,” he said.
“I was certainly disappointed by some of our one-on-one defence but that will be corrected this week and there will be some changes made.
“We’re starting to get a couple of players back so we’ll make some changes.”
