We've been good in a few areas but our attitude in training and play has been very good.
- CYMS coach Tim Ryan

The Fishies haven’t played the past two weeks due to a general bye and then a washout against Nyngan, which is hardly perfect in the lead up to a clash with a Macquarie side third on the ladder.
Despite all that CYMS remain on top of the competition and coach Tim Ryan stated it is not all about results at this stage of the season.
“The results are not really what we’re looking for, it’s more about attitude,” he said.
“It’s about how we play and we want to get better.”
It is a case of continually improving for Ryan.
The Fishies are yet to lose in 2016 but the coach refuses to rest on his laurels, despite knowing his side are applying themselves well.
“We’ve been pretty good in a few areas but our attitude in training and play has been very good,” Ryan said.
“But it could always be better.
“I think every side is striving for that (improvement) and we’re going to keep going. It’s almost halfway though the season for us.”
In terms of this weekend’s match, it has the making of one of the more entertaining derbies in recent times.
Despite last week’s loss to Narromine, Macquarie have been flying in 2016 and possess some of the most exciting players in the competition.
The Raiders will be without Josh Merritt but the likes of Etuate Gusuivalu, Damien Wells and Ash Widders have all been piling on the points this season.
“We’ve had two weeks off so we’re going to have to be extra switched on for this one,” Ryan said.
“I know Eddie (Gusuivalu) and the halves have turned them around a bit and they’ve got some big boys up front too.
“It’s always a big game regardless of where we’re sitting on the ladder but with it being a top two or three game we’re really excited and ready for it.”
The Fishies will again be without leading prop Jarryn Powyer for the first grade clash that is set to kick off at 2.30pm.
In other Group 11 action this weekend, Parkes travel to Wellington to take on the struggling Cowboys.
Parkes enjoyed the bye last week but prior to that defeated Forbes in their best effort of 2016.
The Cowboys are now alone at the foot of the ladder after going down to Dubbo Westside last Friday night.
The Cowboys showed glimpses of attacking talent in their loss to the Rabbitohs but their defence was found wanting on numerous occasions.
CYMS side to play Macquarie: 1 Kieran Cubby-Shipp, 2 Hayden Howell, 3 Jyie Chapman, 4 Colby Pellow, 5 John Grey, 6 Alex Bonham, 7 Matt Toole, 8 Ben Marlin, 9 Luke Jenkins, 10 Lincoln Kavanagh, 11 Alex Ronayne, 12 Jordan Reynolds, 13 Wade Kavanagh, 14 Billy Sing, 15 Shaquille Gordon
