It’s as simple as that for co-coach Dave Stuart.
Despite improving each week, the Rhinos still sit at the foot of the ladder without a point to their name.
On Saturday they travel to Parkes to take on the Boars, a side just one place above them on the ladder.
“The forwards are setting a good platform but we need the forwards and backs to work together,” Stuart said.
“Basically we need to score more points. It’s a matter of getting down to the end and taking the points.”
The inexperience of the backline is one of the major reasons for the lack of tries with Chris Hobson, Kade Goodwin and Ricky Wetherall carrying much of the attacking load.
“There’s experience at half, five-eighth and with Ricky at outside centre but apart from that they’re young guys and the more experience they get in certain situations the more they’ll learn,” Stuart said.
“There’s a good feel around the playing group, we’ve seen things improving and we’re not far away.”
