The men’s shed is tucked away down Queen Street in a shed that the owner, Max Osborne, allows the group to use free of charge.
“The generosity that Max shows us by letting us use this side of the shed for free is outstanding,” member John Morvell said.
Men’s sheds have a long and valued reputation for assisting men with both physical and mental health issues, and Mr Morvell is testimony to how beneficial it is.
“We meet every Tuesday and Friday and just chat about everything,” Mr Morvell said.
“You don’t even really have to do anything. It’s better than going to the doctors.”
The Blayney men’s shed has 24 members and work on all manner of projects.
