There were healthy numbers on the three greens over the course of the long weekend as locals took on bowlers from as far as Sydney and the Central Coast.
After three days of play it was the local trio of Josh Andriske (West Dubbo Bowling Club), Max Lowe (Railway Bowling Club) and Nathan Collis (Dubbo City Bowling Club) who finished as victors.
After winning their opening four matches they defeated fellow local hopes Lindsay Burton, Craig Jeffries and Mick Rae 21-13 to be crowned winners.
While it was another memorable event for the club and all those involved, it was also an emotional tournament following the recent passing of Henry Gordon.
Gordon was almost always found on the greens around Dubbo and carved out a successful career, highlighted by the fact he was a Zone 4 champion multiple times.
All those involved in the Jack Nolan Triples were keen to pay their respects and enjoy a beer for Gordon during the entire long weekend.
