Not quite but you get the point of what Denis Carnahan's Rugby League - The Musical will bring when it hits Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) next month.
Carnahan made his name when he created a parody song highlighting the State of Origin powerhouse's penchant for picking players not born in the sunshine state.
Nobody was off limits, with Fijian-born Petero Civoniceva, Papua New Guinean Adrian Lam and Macksville's favourite son Greg Inglis all targets as Queenslanders born somewhere other than Queensland.
With his popularity growing, Carnahan has gone and created an entire musical based on the greatest game of all, and it is receiving rave reviews.
After runs at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Sydney Fringe Festival, Carnahan is taking his comic genius on the road and Dubbo will be first stop on a national tour that will cover a number of NSW venues as well as others in Victoria, New Zealand and - you guessed it - Queensland.
For the purposes of the tour, we can assume New Zealand is also in Queensland.
Former St George and Parramatta star Steve Edge is one of many fans that has seen the show, which he described as "original, clever, witty and hilarious" while ABC Grandstand said "no topic or subject is off limits".
The show contains some strong language so it is recommended that those who attend are aged 15 years or older.
Rugby League - The Musical starts at 8pm on July 19 at the DRTCC.
Tickets are $55 for adults and $48 for subscribers and can be purchased online at www.drtcc.com.au or by visiting the theatre box office on Darling Street.
