The Demons racked up their fourth consecutive Central West AFL win at a wet and muddy Northparkes Oval, running out 7.9 (51) to 3.8 (26) winners.
The victory ensure the Demons head into the long weekend's general bye equal on points with the Panthers.
"To beat one of the higher teams in the competition in those conditions was really, really good and I was really pleased," Bunt said.
"To do it on the road was even better so for me personally it was our best win for the season."
Bunt described the oval as "wet, muddy and slippery" and that was reflected in the shoreline, with only 10 majors kicked all day.
Bailey Delaney was the only multiple goal kicker, booting two for the Demons, while the likes of Matt Grundy, Jono Naden, Jayden Wallace and Nicholas O'Sullivan were all standouts for the victors.
Dubbo only allowed the Panthers to kick a single behind in both the first and third quarters.
Bunt was full of praise for his backline and midfield, saying they laid the foundation for the win, while he stated it was his side who played better in the less than ideal conditions.
"I think it suited us better," he said.
"Parkes are a big side and it took that advantage away because the whole game was played on the ground.
"We had the desire to get in and have a crack."
Despite the strong wind favouring one end, the Demons managed to kick goals in each of the first three quarters and the contest was as good as over then with the visitors leading by 33 points.
The final margin was 25 points, giving the Demons a huge boost heading into their next fixture against unbeaten competition leaders, the Cowra Blues.
Bunt confessed that will be a huge challenge for his side but the mood within the Dubbo camp is a positive one.
"The last few (wins) have been good," Bunt said.
"We had to work hard for the first one and then we had a big one over Orange which gave the boys some confidence and then it was another good one over the Giants.
"We had to work hard again (against Parkes) and I think that shows we're willing to put the work in both on and off the field.
"I think some teams will be nervous to play against us."
