There are 12 venues on the latest list, including six newly added level two (12-18 violent incidents in a year) venues.
The Dubbo pub is one of the level two venues.
Six other venues, including the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust, have been removed from the list.
Under the listing, the Amaroo Hotel will have to comply with the following restrictions: cease alcohol service 30 minutes before closing; no glass or breakable containers after midnight; alcohol time-outs or free water and food for 10 minutes every hour after midnight; required to maintain a detailed incident register whenever trading; extra compliance monitoring.
The Amaroo Hotel was added to the list after recording 13 violent incidents over a 12 month period, and has until Wednesday, June 8 to comply with the restrictions.
Home Nightclub in Sydney is the sole level one venue, recording 19 or more violent incidents in a year, and restrictions applying to it include a 1.30am lockout, extra security measures and prohibition of certain beverages, including shots, after midnight.
Deputy Premier, Justice Minister and Dubbo MP Troy Grant said the latest violent venues list shows a 10 per cent reduction in alcohol-related incidents at listed venues - 180 compared to 200 in the last list published in December.
It is also a dramatic drop from the 1270 alcohol-related incidents recorded in 2008 when the list was first issued.
"Most licensed venues are getting the message that it just doesn't add up to run an unsafe pub, club or bar, but I'm concerned that there are still some fresh additions to our list that clearly aren't heeding the message," Mr Grant said.
"I encourage all venues on the list to take action to curb alcohol-related violence, because every patron deserves to get home safely after a night out."
The results come as the NSW government recently concluded the last of three community roundtables held to discuss how to achieve a safe and vibrant Sydney night-time economy.
"We've had a great response to the roundtables and government will now compile a report and provide to former Justice Ian Callinan, who is carrying out the independent review of our liquor laws which will report back in August," Mr Grant said.
The Amaroo Hotel management was contacted but declined to comment.
