Sometime between 6am on May 17 and 4.30pm on May 27, an unknown person or people broke into a shed on a property about 5km south of Wilcannia.
During the break and enter, five registered firearms were stolen from a safe. They include three .22 bolt action rifles, a .22 magnum bolt action rifle and a .222 bolt action rifle.
Officers from Barrier Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries and are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
