THE chance to move closer to the top four in Central West AFL is motivating the Dubbo Demons heading into this weekend's match with the Bathurst Giants

The Demons are coming off back-to-back wins for the first time in roughly five years and at South Dubbo Oval on Saturday meet a Giants side which is yet to win in 2016.
After wins over the Young Saints and Orange Tigers this month the Demons are up to fifth but are still eight points behind fourth-placed Parkes.
"We've just got to keep doing what we're doing but still keep on improving," Dubbo's co-coach Will Bunt said.
"Just because we've won two in a row doesn't mean we can't play any better.
"We need to consolidate and get another win this weekend and then show we can beat a top-four team after that."
The fact two players are playing their final match for the club is giving the Demons another reason to play well.
Arend Boog and Chris Sewell will both be departing Dubbo following the match and Bunt said the pair would be tough to replace both on and off the field.
"Arend is president and Chris has helped out on the committee too so on and off the ground they've been good," he said.
"It would be good to send them away with a good memory."
This season has seen the Demons play some of their best football in years.
Despite having lost their opening four matches the positive signs were there and it all came to fruition in the matches against Young and Orange.
"The win against Young was a good, hard, grinding and well-earned win coming from behind in the third quarter to go on and win," Bunt said.
"And the last one was a good, complete performance across four quarters and it was a good confidence builder."
That confidence and momentum was stunted slightly last week when the side had the weekend off due to the general bye.
But Bunt and fellow co-coach Mick Daly have been working their side hard at training.
"We've just got to keep control of possession and use the ball as well as we can," Bunt said.
"And in the game against Orange we kicked 11 behinds so if we had only kicked five or six then that's five or six more goals and a really big win so goalkicking could always be better."
Saturday's match at South Dubbo Oval begins at 2.30pm.
