The 17-year-old will be one of six Australian students taking part in the National University of Singapore Science Summer Camp, after she was selected earlier this year.
In January, Natalie attended the National Youth Science Forum in Canberra. From there she was selected to further her studies.
"It's a great privilege for me and I know it will bring further clarity to my future career aspirations," Natalie said.
"I have a very strong passion for science but at this stage I'm not completely clear about what direction I'd like to go."
Natalie said she was considering a combined commerce and science degree.
Despite the nerves about her first trip overseas, Natalie said she was excited to share her passion with like-minded people.
"As far as I know we will be studying forensic science, stem cell developments and microscopic research during the science school," she said.
"I'm really looking forward to getting there and being in a university-style learning environment again."
The trip will cost about $8,000, so to raise funds, Natalie has combined with Dubbo College's Team Zircon 4x4 in Schools to organise a trivia night.
Team Zircon will travel to England in July after receiving a wildcard entry into the world 4x4 Schools titles.
To attend the event, the group is trying to raise almost $40,000
The trivia night will be at the Dubbo RSL auditorium on Friday June 3, starting at 6.30pm.
It will be eight people to a team with an entry of $5 per person.
