He said it had been invited to submit a formal application for its Outback Arts Creative Hub and property redevelopment to the value of $300,000.
The ClubGRANTS Category 3 Fund was established by the government to deliver funding to communities across NSW to support healthy lifestyles through increased participation in sport, recreation, arts and cultural activities.
"I am thrilled Outback Arts has been short-listed," Mr Humphries said.
"A total of 256 expressions of interest were submitted for funding statewide and the Coonamble project is one of just 24 applications invited to progress to the final application stage, which is a wonderful achievement on behalf of our local community."
