The Dubbo boys played with great intensity, with Harry Connell again playing a big part in providing the inspiration for the boys and getting the team fired up.
In what turned out to be a fantastic victory, the forwards set a great platform early with Corey Hyland showing awesome strength wrestling possession while he also showed he has a tricky attacking game with a couple of dummy passes that left Orange on their heels.
Oscar Matthews continues to play a strong game at the breakdown while Matt Riley had a top- class game and made numerous line breaks which the whole forward pack followed.
Tom Hodgkinson showed his speed and power early to fly in for a try to begin the high-scoring contest.
Thomas Isbester was absolutely amazing and set up the try while he had a hand in almost every key play in the game and in defence hit the attack like a machine.
Kalam Ward provided plenty of impact while Lach Pobje and Nick Jasprizza have developed a top pick and drive game and utilities Jacob Draper and Pat Hennessey showed real urgency which excited the crowd.
Edward Foran and Liam Stephens were strong up front and cleared the ruck for Aaron Boyle to shoot more lovely ball out to the backline.
Zac Sears impressed in the backs and forwards while captain Jack Neave was a leader on the paddock, communicating with the referee, keeping the game going and again impressing in attack and defence.
Boyle was spot-on at scrumhalf provided ball for the backs and forwards, Ben Hey continued his efforts as an impact player and Liam Daly is fast becoming a player to watch with his lineouts and tight game really being noticed.
Ben Cook is proving to be an exciting player to watch and was outstanding against Emus as he linked with the backline and Baye Wallace, who scored a number of tries which showed real speed and confidence.
Cook is beyond his years on the field and his vision is a real asset while Wallace continues to be devastating in all facets of play.
With so many players performing so well it was a great game to watch but as the final few minutes approached Orange crossed for what many thought may have been the game.
But the Blues went up a notch and the controlled frantic effort from the whole team had the entire crowd on their feet.
In the last play before the final whistle Jack Neave put in a drive to manage to get clean get ball for Thomas Isbester to pick up the ball and, with the crowd and the team on his shoulders, bust through numerous defenders to break free and power across for another runaway try under the posts.
It sealed a 41-38 win in a first- class game of junior rugby to watch and one which produced 13 tries and seven conversions.
