ROUND five of the Dubbo City Toyota Road Racing Series was a fruitful one for the Eather family with eldest sibling Kurt taking out the A grade 80km handicap, father Vaughn victorious in the B grade 80km handicap and youngest sibling Dylan taking out the C grade 42km handicap on the South Geurie course on Saturday.

Kurt Eather (race time 2 hours 12.31 minutes at an average speed 35.85km/hour) won the A grade event by 37 seconds over Tim Hines ins second, David Gerrish in third (+39 seconds), Chris Couper in fourth (+42 seconds), Mick Ticehurst in fifth (+51 seconds), Hamish Bourke (+1.21 minutes) and Adam Mitchell in seventh (+3.15 minutes).
Vaughn Eather (race time 2 hours 9.42 minutes at an average speed 36.96km/hour) sprinted clear of the bunch of nine riders to take the B grade honours over Craig Lennox, Darrell Wheeler, Daniel Roberts, Craig May, Greg Bourke, Heather Ticehurst, Mick Harvey, Matt Fuller and Greg Willmot, who finished second to 10th respectively.
Dylan Eather outrode his older rivals to win C grade in a time of 1 hour 11 minutes and 38 seconds (average speed of 35.77km/hour) and was 32 seconds ahead of Danny Barber in second and Maurice Ashford (+32 seconds) in third.
Julia Graham, Craig Arms, Gary Barber, Andrew Hurrell, Kevin Couper, and Tom Mannix rounded out the field. Catherine Fuller continued her strong form taking out the D grade 42km scratch race in a time of one hour 20.05 seconds (average speed 31.99km.hour) over Sam Peacocke in a tight finish while Luke Beange was a further six seconds back in third.
Brodie Wheeler, Ann Clark and Sarah Gordon followed.
Jason Canobie (race time 1 hour 38 minutes and 32 seconds at an average speed of 26km/hour) was victorious in the E grade 42km scratch race over Michelle Fuller (second +3 seconds), Helen Hines (third +1.38 minutes), Catriona Jennings and Lauren Fuller.
Kurt Eather's win sees him leap frog Chris Couper to sit on top of the overall points score standings on 126 points, followed by Couper on 121, Tim Hines (third; 109 points), Julia Graham (fourth; 92 points) and David Gerrish (fifth; 92 points)
Round six of the Dubbo City Toyota Road Racing Series will be held on the Burroway Road course and will be a 36km handicap, while junior road racing will again take place on Sunday on the Sheraton Road course.
Dubbo Cycle Club will also be well represented at this weekend's Cootamundra Haycarters Handicap, which attracts a number of the state's best National Road Series squads as well as some of the most talented riders.
The ever popular motor paced 100-lap track endurance training will again take place on Thursday evening from 6pm at No. 1 Oval.
