With more and more runners and walkers turning up to take part each week, this weekend will be extra special for the mother in your life.
The volunteer roles have all been taken up by dads and kids, ensuring the mums get some time to have a run or walk around the course.
And more volunteers have been working tirelessly for weeks making paper flowers for each and every mum who crosses the finish line on Saturday.
The parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run or walk held at the same time and place at more than 100 locations across Australia.
It has gained more than 1600 registered participants since it kicked off at Dubbo in July, the volunteer organising committee has reported.
People wanting to know more about Dubbo parkrun should visit the organisation's Facebook page and can register at www.parkrun.com.au/register.
