Band president Tony Wheatland said the Mums at the Movies concert would include popular favourites from James Bond, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, The Blues Brothers, The Dam Busters and Ratatouille.
Mr Wheatland said the band had been "a tradition" in Dubbo for many years.
"We try to play in public as much as possible," he said.
"The band is involved in regular civic performances and also presents a number of concerts each year.
"Members share a love of music and range in age from nine to 79 years."
Mr Wheatland said Sunday's concert would begin at 2pm.
"The auditorium will be open from 1.30pm to give people plenty of time to settle in their seats. All tickets are $10 and can be obtained at the door."
Mr Wheatland said Dubbo District Concert Band was the current holder of the D Grade NSW Band Championships.
Elevated to the C Grade category, the band will compete against other top bands during the 2016 state competition to be held at the Joan Sutherland Centre in Penrith in August.
"We rehearse at the band hall in Boundary Road from 7-9pm each Wednesday and welcome new members," Mr Wheatland said.
"Our concert band has a great sound and we have plans to establish a new intermediate band to cater for young musicians as well as existing band members wishing to play a different instrument."
