For the first time, tickets to the opening must be booked at www.artunlimitednsw.com.au.
More than 300 people traditionally attend the opening night, considered a highlight on the calendar of Central West NSW.
In 2016 Art Unlimited has attracted a record number of entries.
About 500 artists, photographers and ceramicists from across Australia will compete for more than $11,000 in prizes.
Tickets to the opening night cost $32 each and include fine wines from a multi-award-winning winery at Mudgee.
Dunedoo Central School hospitality students will again cater for the event.
The exhibition will run from Saturday, May 21 to Sunday, May 29.
It will be open at weekends from 9am to 5pm and during the working week from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Weekday mornings have been set aside for school visits.
Entry to the exhibition is $5, payable at the door.
Bookings for the exhibition's opening night are essential.
