A huge three days for the Dubbo Show has wrapped up, with show society president Chris Edwards anticipating a success on a par with last year.

Weather threatened to cause problems but while rain fell, it fell at times that allowed the show to continue.
And Mr Edwards acknowledged the importance of break in the weather that would allow the rural community to produce the livestock and crops that were at the heart of the show.
A good show is a win not only for the not-for-profit organisation, but also for the broader city.
A walk across the showground revealed the multitude of grassroots community groups that are linked in with the show, fundraising and promoting awareness of their causes.
Continuing with a practice of the past few years, the show had a nominated charity, this year being the Hear Our Heart Ear Bus Project.
The show has the ability to bring people to Dubbo, with resulting economic benefits.
It's also great promotion for our city, not least of which was the broadcast of the TAB Carnival of Cups harness racing event on Friday night.
And it's real-time, face-to-face connection for people, knitting the community together and breaking down isolation.
With Dinosaur Adventures, online ticketing and other new activities they showed their interest in meeting 21st century needs, while keeping true to their purpose.
The hard-working committee of volunteers has done a great job to bring off the 2016 Orana Mutual Dubbo Show.
