MATHEW Cahill used his knowledge of the Cowra track to full advantage on Saturday, notching a winning double with rides onboard Cowra Services Club Diggers Cup (1375m) winner Liabilityadjuster and Worldly Wise in the Benchmark 65 Handicap (950m).

Liabilityadjuster saluted comfortably by seven lengths while the latter won on the line edging out Kayla Nisbet and Gratz Vella's Mclennan.
After the finish of the 950m journey, Cahill conceded he was unsure if he had crossed the line first.
"I was hoping, I thought I'd just got there. I wouldn't have been surprised if it went the other way but I was hoping," Cahill said.
"She's well suited around Cowra's 950m, she's a quick little mare. She came into barrier one and had the limit weight on her back so she had a few things in her favour."
It was race three on the Cowra Jockey Club's Anzac weekend program, and Cahill kept the six-year-old mare positioned next to the rail in the initial stages as Nisbet and Mclennan set the pace.
At the 500m Worldly Wise split the field and, despite a gutsy performance from Mclennan, surged to the lead in a fantastic show of speed.
The result was her fifth win from 24 starts for Forbes trainer Dennis Bush.
"There was plenty of speed in the race which suits her. She just likes to sit off them and finish hard and that's what she did," Cahill said.
"She had a nice run at about the 500m which put her in the race and it was close at the finish but she put her head out at the line.
"I've had a couple of goes on her and a couple of wins. She gives 100 per cent and she's very genuine."
The Cowra hoop completed his winning double three races later when Liabilityadjuster displayed a classy performance in the Diggers Cup.
The mare by Bureaucracy was heavily supported and she gave punters no reason to worry rounding the top of the straight in the lead before separating her opponents and winning easily.
Worthy Rival and Highly Charged made the minor placings.
Speaking before the race, Cahill explained the mare's form and admitted they were a hope.
"She's trained by Doug Gorrell in Canberra. Her last run was good, she ran third at Queanbeyan, and the one before that was good she ran fourth at the Sapphire Coast, she's been thereabouts without winning," he said.
"She's an honest little mare that races on the speed, which suits around here. Distance suits. She's drawn six, there is a leader in the race, Under The Eaves, I think we should be able to run second or third so it looks to be a nice race for her."
It was Liabilityadjuster's third win in a career of 26 starts.
Cahill added his delight of securing a couple of wins at his home track.
"Always, it's good to get a win anywhere but especially in Cowra."
