Headspace Dubbo celebrated their first birthday with a carnival-themed night.
Youth Access and Awareness worker Nic Steepe said it was a way to celebrate the organisation's achievements and also give back to the community.
"It went really, really well. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was just lots and lots of fun," he said.
From fortune telling to a pie-eating contest, there was something to keep everyone entertained but the event also provided and opportunity for the community to get to know their local services.
Headspace Dubbo has provided more than 2633 face-to-face appointments and has received more than 750 referrals since it opened.
"We're all pretty busy but we're a hard-working and dedicated team," Mr Steepe said.
In the next 12 months headspace's aim is to educate every year 7 student in the area on the best way to look after their own and their friends' mental health, team leader Rachel Thomas said.
"We pride ourselves on the centre's atmosphere to offer a soft entry approach for young people," she said.
"We provide an environment where young people can walk through and meet the staff prior to making a referral, and in turn reducing the stigma of clinical services. We have received feedback from parents that the service provides a one-stop, friendly, no-threatening environment that is enticing to young people seeking help."
