A 64-YEAR-OLD man from Lightning Ridge will front court after police allegedly found two resealable bags of cannabis at a Lightning Ridge house.

Officers went to a Harlequin Street address about 8.45am on Saturday, April 9, and spoke with the man.
While they were there they conducted a search and allegedly turned up the two bags containing cannabis.
The man was issued with a court attendance notice to appear at Lightning Ridge Local Court on May 25.
Meanwhile the driver of a vehicle stopped by police in Gulargambone will front court after police allegedly found a hand-rolled cannabis cigarette on the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
The accused was pulled over in Yoolundry Street about 12.20pm on Wednesday, April 6 and will front Coonamble Local Court on June 21 charged with possessing a prohibited drug.
