DUBBO skipper Mitch Bower has called on Bathurst to "come to the party" and delay the Western Zone Premier League grand final after his side returned to form in Sunday's huge semi-final win over Cowra.

The thumping eight-wicket victory at Lady Cutler 2 books a ticket to the grand final against Bathurst, which is meant to be played next weekend.
However, Bower and fellow leading batsmen Jordan Moran will be away that date due to NSW Country commitments and Bower wants both sides to be full strength when they go head-to-head.
"We're hoping Bathurst want to play it when we've got our best side and if we play next week we've got Jordan, myself and potentially Greg (Buckley) out," he said.
"It's going to be a tricky one depending on a few circumstances but hopefully Bathurst will come to the party and use the reserve date so they can play our best side otherwise it's going to be a bit bittersweet."
In terms of Sunday's performance, Bower was thrilled.
Dubbo's spinners took all ten wickets to dismiss Cowra for 155 before Jordan Moran and Wayne Dunlop scored 135 for the first wicket to set up the dominant win.
Cowra won the toss and got off to a solid start before leg-spinner Ryan Medley starred, taking 5-14 from just 4.1 overs, while Buckley bowled well for his 4-38 and Stuart Naden chipped in with one wicket.
The Dubbo spinners kickstarted a Cowra collapse of epic proportions.
The visitors fell from 4-140, with captain Conor Crook (55) and opener Jonte Powderly (40) leading the way, to be all out for 155 and the game was as good as over by lunch as Moran led Dubbo to 0-98 after 14 overs.
The representative left-handers bludgeoned Cowra's attack and hit nine fours and five sixes in his knock of 85.
He found a valuable ally in Dunlop, who went on to finish unbeaten on 50 as Dubbo reached the target for the loss of two wickets inside 25 overs.
"We executed everything," bower said.
"Their openers and top order batted well, they got off to a good start and were about two or three for 140 and then all out for 150 and that's a pat on our back for the way our spinners bowled but also a bit of a negative the way they batted.
"Then Jordo started us off on fire as he does and had continued his good form throughout the year and set us up for the win and 'Dunners' played second fiddle then upped the ante when Jordan got out and got himself a 50 and batted really well.
"It was a pretty convincing win really, to get the runs in 20 overs or whatever we did set us up for what could have been a huge total if we batted first."
Cowra skipper Crook was disappointed to lose in such convincing fashion but was proud of his side for a season which included a win over Parkes and a place in the semis.
"I think Dubbo are the best side in the Premier League and they have five or six zone players so it was a bit of a reality check and shows where you need to be but not a bad season overall," he said.
