The CBD store owner has had a busy week ahead of this Valentine's Day, and has been inundated with orders both locally and from out of town.
She said with Valentine's Day falling on a Sunday this year, it has been a four-day affair - more of a marathon than a sprint.
"Because Valentine's Day is on a Sunday it has been an unusually busy Valentine's Day for us," Ms Bjorksten said.
"This time we have found Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday... leading up is busier than usual."
With deliveries already sent as far afield as Lightning Ridge, Walgett and Coonabarabran throughout the week, it is the Dubbo crowd that is expected to flock to florists and chocolatiers during a day that rivals only Mother's Day on Ms Bjorksten's calendar.
Traditional red roses have been as popular as ever, while many customers have opted for the coloured rose varieties or mixed bouquets, Ms Bjorksten said.
More than 1500 red roses had been ordered in ahead of the big day, but Ms Bjorksten said she would not be surprised if those have all sold by Sunday.
"The way we're going I am actually getting a little nervous," she said.
"I'm thinking of ordering in more... all I can say is we are really, really, really busy."
