DUBBO Cycle Club riders had their final competitive hit-out on Tuesday night, ahead of this weekend's NSW U9-13 State Championships and senior Dubbo Open track carnival to be held at Victoria Park's No. 1 Oval.

Twenty-seven Dubbo riders will compete in the two-day event this weekend, with state titles on offer for the under 9, under 11 and under 13 riders in the scratch race, individual time trial and sprint derby disciplines, as well as $3500 in prize money open to riders in the under 15, under 17, under 19 and open senior divisions.
Tyler Barnes recorded a clean sweep in the junior division two events. Joe Sinclair, Tom Russell, Will Gilbert and Angus Campbell recording minor placings, while Lachie Farr (two lap scratch race), Georgia Farr (two lap handicap) and Rocco Wrigley (one lap handicap) were the winners of the junior development races.
Brodie Wheeler was the winner of the junior division one three-lap and five-lap scratch races, Makayla Fuller won the two-lap handicap. Imogen, Zara and Zac Fuller registered minor placings.
The D-grade events were taken out by Jason Canobie (four-lap scratch race) and Lachie Sinclair (five-lap scratch race), while Lauren Fuller and Kevin Couper scored minor placings.
Danny Barber (five-lap scratch race and two-lap and four-lap handicaps) notched up three victories in C-grade, as Haylee Fuller outsmarted her rivals to cross the line first in the eight-lap scratch race. Catherine Fuller and Heather Ticehurst rounded out the placings.
Kurt Eather (eight-lap scratch race), Chris Couper (four-lap handicap) and Luke Ensor (20-lap scratch race) shared the victories and the minor placings in A-grade.
The Hines family recorded a rare feat on Tuesday night, with each member of the family winning an event of their respective divisions, with Tim winning the A-grade two-lap handicap, Helen winning the D-grade two-lap handicap, Mitchell crossing the line first in the D-grade four-lap handicap, Trent victorious in the junior division one four-lap handicap and Emily winning the junior development one-lap scratch race.
The B-grade victors and minor place getters were Dylan Eather (first six-lap and 10-lap scratch races), Matt Fuller (first four-lap handicap and second 10-lap scratch race), Aaron Willmot (first two lap handicap), Jason Farr (second two-lap and four-lap handicap and third in six and 10-lap scratch races) and Sam Fitzgerald (second six-lap scratch race and third in two-lap and four-lap handicaps).
Dubbo Cycle Club will this weekend unveil its new racing kit, which has been produced by Melbourne-based company Seight Custom Cycling Wear.
Seight Custom Cycling Wear is the supplier of racing kits for the Cycling Victoria and Cycling Queensland state teams, as well manufacturers of the women specific cycling fashion range TiffanyJane, which is designed by Australian professional rider Tiffany Cromwell, who rides for the pre-eminent professional women's team, Canyon-SRAM.
The NSW U9-13 State Championships get underway at 2pm on Saturday and the senior open carnival starting at 4pm, while the State Championships will continue on Sunday from 9am at Victoria Park No. 1 Oval.
Track racing will continue next Tuesday night from, with another round of the Wheelrace series to be contested, which is sponsored by Active Solar & Gas.
